Ruth Neubauer is a self taught artist and shoemaker using traditional American and Scandavian materials and American post-consumer excess and waste. Inspiration comes from growing up in flyover country, the fallout of capitalist globalism, trying to mend tradition with the modern world, and the hope for a more balanced and kind future.
