Sharjah metal scrap silk shirt made in Athens from 100% locally-sourced silk crepe.

The 'Mother Trade' collection is a large scale work with sub-sections that SERAPIS made for Sharjah Biennial 16. The work as a whole, created through collaborations with local producers, craftspeople and the Maritime Academy of Sharjah, is, among other things, a tribute to the maritime history and the many layers of trade and exchange in the region.

Wide fit on the body and sleeves. Unstructured spread collar, mother of pearl SERAPIS buttons, tonal stitching throughout. Comes with optional hand-dyed crepe de chine silk tie / ribbon with SERAPIS rivet details.
