Poplin Halter Top

Bias cut, made from elastic light cotton poplin, the top features long straps on the neck and the back allowing for an ideal fit.

The finished garment has been hand-painted and pressure treated with tar-colored paint, later ironed and embedded inside the fabric weave.

The 'Piraeus Golden Hour' collection is an attempt to capture a moment, a specific window in time and space at the port of Piraeus. Using an expanded, cinematic approach, the collection captures the dreamy liquidity and textures of a single golden-hour evening at the port. Shot simultaneously across the area through an analog PVC filter, the prints move between abstraction and representation, tracing the colors and materiality of buoys, trucks, nets, knives, and harbor infrastructure, a recurring subject in SERAPIS’ ongoing artistic practice.
