In partnering with Nishibe Chemical of Nara, a renowned maker of high quality bathroom slippers for over 40 years, they’ve stylized the “Ben-san” (truncated for   benjyo-sandaru meaning bathroom-sandals) into fashionable footwear.  Taking on new territory outside the context of public facilities, hospitals and schools - the Bench ben-san adds “charm” alongside its qualities of comfort, anti-bacterial function, and durability.
