Renata Brenha is a London-based Brazilian womenswear designer, focusing on artisanal and intuitive methods to regain the human aspect in design. She takes inspiration in South American ceremonial, ritualistic traditions to bring the sentiment of celebrations to everyday wear. The brand ethos, Gambiarra, is expressed through a DIY attitude towards reimagining waste and elevating it through craft. Textiles are developed in-house, through artisanal techniques and carefully chosen materials that would otherwise be considered as waste.
