MAEKAN Golden Generation: North Star Zine

Hong Kong based media platform MAEKAN is dropping its second issue of the Golden Generation zine, hosted at Two Two in Oakland.

This issue features stories of Asian creative forces who have found their “north star”—enabling them to persevere through challenges and societal expectations to pursue a career in the creative arts.

Included in this edition is a mix of talent that spans different fields, yet all share the same ethos of pursuing their dreams. The names featured are singer-songwriter, Thuy (@thuymusic); award-winning Chef, Justin Pichetrungsi (@justinpeachpeach); burgeoning photographer, Nori Rasmussen-Martinez (@nori.rasmussenmartinez); acclaimed film-maker, Destin Yori Daniel Cretton (@destindaniel); influential skateboarder and on-screen personality, Eunice Chang (@notcheetos); and bespoke fashion studio, Firme Atelier (@firmeatelier).
