SERAPIS MARITIME

SERAPIS MARITIME

Two Two has always felt like a creative practice as much as a store. Sometimes a gallery. It's given us room to pursue art and design in public, in ways that's engaging and multi-directional.
It's exciting when we meet those whose approach also spills across disciplines, employing different mediums to circulate ideas, and whose research and reality is mixed with fantasy.

Some may have heard of SERAPIS through emerging fashion lanes. Others through art. Based in Athens, they're an art collective and label grounded in research and photographic documentation on the infrastructures, imaginaries, and industries shaped by water. Specific yet far-reaching, as water touches us all physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

As goods move through ports, their work surfaces as garments, installations, and printed matter that move through cultural economies, transporting narratives of labor, migration, and precariousness.

We've worked with SERAPIS to offer a selection of current and archive pieces from multiple collections, both wearable and for the home. We presented it recently at our pop-up during LA Art Week end of February 2026, and the photos you see were taken then.

Now it's available in our Oakland store and soon online.
