Homegrown Home Goods: Mycelium Fabrication Workshop w/ 10th Floor Studio — October 30, 2025

$150.00

Date: Thursday, October 30th
Time: 6pm-8pm
Location: Two Two (3221 Grand Ave, Oakland)
Experience: All levels
Capacity: 12 people

Learn from futures-led fine artists Jerome Tavé and Kyle Lawson of 10th Floor Studio about their process that weaves aluminum and mushroom mycelium into design objects and works of art.

In the workshop, you'll learn to design a modular form that can be left whole, or carved away to create a one-of-a-kind object for home. Each participant will leave with their own form (vase, small tray, or candle holder), one that will continue to grow and evolve beyond the class.

All materials provided.

10th Floor Studio is a conceptual art studio operated by Jerome Tavé and Kyle Lawson. Kyle and Jerome met while at SCAD studying Industrial Design. Jerome is an artist with a background in interaction design, exploring narratives for futures that seed ecological awareness, with Fungi a central ingredient in his creative practice. Kyle, an artist and designer, weaves conceptual art with regenerative agriculture and ecosystem restoration. Their futures-led fine art practice, 10th Floor Studio, has grown among a wider community of artists and practitioners in the San Francisco Bay Area.
